The Washington State Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ is composed of 75 churches and 15 Districts that span approximately a 400 mile radius. In the early 1920's, Mothers Tolliver and Reese pioneered the Jurisdiction through prayer. Brother Tolliver (who later became Bishop L. E. Tolliver) also worked to lay the foundation in Washington and was eventually appointed Overseer of Alaska. Overseer Goodlow was appointed as the first Overseer and Bishop of the State of Washington by our founder, Bishop Charles Harrison Mason.

Superintendent Lee Young Administrative Assistant to the Bishop Chairman, Jurisdictional Pastor's & Elder's Council & Jurisdictional Finance Chairman
District #8, is one of the 15 Districts that compose the Washington State Jurisdiction. It is composed of seven churches that cover a span of 70 miles, reaching from Everett to Tacoma. Administrative Assistant Lee Young has been the District Superintendent for nearly 30 years. Evangelist Rebekah Dennis is the District Missionary and has been leading the Women’s Department since 2002.
