MISSION Proclaim liberty throughout the land to people of all ages, races, colors and creeds assisting them with the implementation of God’s word as a way of life…..Leviticus 25: 9,10
VISION Grow a body of believers that are anointed and equipped to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, providing hope, healing and deliverance in the home, community and beyond…..Luke 4: 18,19
The mission and vision of Jubilee are derived from the biblical celebration in (Leviticus 25) where God commanded that the trumpet of Jubilee be sounded and for the people to proclaim liberty throughout the land. This celebration signified that all debts had been paid and servants were set free, in other words "liberty and justification for all." God has placed this same Spirit within our ministry and it is overflowing throughout the neighborhoods, cities, and counties.
The name Jubilee was revealed to Pastor Moore as a child; it wasn’t until adulthood that Pastor Moore answered God’s call to organize this ministry, and in January of 2003 The Jubilee Church of God in Christ was birthed. The plan for Jubilee was presented to and blessed by Bishop T. L. Westbrook, Jurisdictional Prelate of Washington State and on March 2, 2003, Jubilee held its first worship service with a total of 12 members (9 adults and 3 children) in the home of Pastor and First Lady Moore in Everett, WA. Six months later God opened a door at the Boys and Girls Club in North Everett and the ministry continued to prosper. Pastor Moore continued to thank God for the open door and at the same time sought a building where the doors could be open all day and any day if needed. God heard the prayer and blessed Jubilee with its current location. From the first service of Jubilee until the present, God has saved, healed, and delivered many souls and continues to add laborers in the vineyard. |
