Pastor Alvin C. Moore was born and raised in Seattle, WA and grew up in the church. As a teenager he accepted the Lord as his personal savior and was baptized with the gift of the Holy Ghost. After graduating High School he joined the United States Air Force, and over the course of his career he received extensive training in the Information Management, Drill Instructor, Education and Training Management, Leadership School Instructor, and Recruiting career fields. While on his first enlistment he met and married Sister Maria E. Leon of Los Angeles, CA and together they have two children. In 2005 he was blessed to retire after serving 20 faithful years. Throughout his life he has worked endlessly to further the Kingdom of God by volunteering in the communities, feeding the hungry and homeless, proclaiming the gospel in the streets, convalescent homes, parks, and prisons. He has also conducted revivals and preached in numerous states and countries. He is a National Evangelist. Currently he serves as the Secretary for District #8 and President of Missions Department for the Washington State Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. He is also a High School Teacher and Director of the Respect Team for the Arlington School District.
First Lady Maria E. Moore hails from Los Angeles, CA and had her initial religious beginnings in the Catholic Church. She had a "Damascus Road" experience with the Lord later on in life and that’s when God filled her with the Holy Ghost. She attended schools in Mexico and the United States until the age of 13 and after graduating High School “with honors” and attending California State University at Los Angles she entered the United States Air Force and served her country seven years as a Logistics Non- Commissioned Officer and Drill Instructor. While serving in the Air Force she met and married Pastor Moore. Sister Moore obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant before receiving a Honorable Discharge. She has worked for the Lord in various levels of ministry: Sunday School Teacher, Bible Band Teacher, Young Women Christian Council President, Sunshine Band President, and Sewing Circle President just to name a few. She has also received certifications, licenses and degrees in Early Childhood Education, Psychology and Real Estate. Currently she is a Counselor for Snohomish County Corrections. STAFF MEMBERS
